Bob Wire: Home

Hey, the new album, Buffaload, is out there. You can buy it in Missoula at Rockin' Rudy's, Budget CDs, Ear Candy, and at Hastings.

If you'd like to buy it online, click over to the 'Buy the CD' page at your left. CDBaby will take care of the rest. Woo-hoo!

When you're in the Missoula area, check the Independent or the Friday Missoulian to see when and where we're playing. I'll update the calendar here to help you plan your life around our shows.

Look around the site while you're here, and you will eventually find out how to get a free CD! Man, sometimes my own generosity astounds me. Now git!

Live shows in Butte and Helena - January 25, 2010

The Montana Matters "Fenceline Concert Series" kicks off Friday, Feb. 5 with a killer show in Butte. Joining me at the Butte Depot will be Tim Ryan, Grammy-winner Sonny McMaire (Exile), and my partner in crime Shane Clouse, with this band Stompin' Ground.
The next night, we'll be at the GrandStreet Theatre in Helena.
I'll be busting out a couple of new songs, including the future smash hit, "Mr. Bubble Saved My Marriage."
We're raising funds for Montana Matters, a non-profit group that works to preserve Montana's dwindling recreational lands. For more information, go to montanamatters.com. Hope to see you there!

BUFFALOAD reviewed at EvO:R - November 12, 2009

I've posted Charlie Harrelson's review of Buffaload over on the Reviews/Press page. I'm yet again tagged as an "average" singer (why do you think they call me the Burlap Fog?), but he likes the music and the stories.
I'm always gratified when a CD gets reviewed, but more so when the reviewer has obviously spent some time with the music before sitting down at his/her keyboard.
Check out the EvO:R.com site - there's lots of great independent music there. Now git!

Your Event Needs Some Bob Wire - October 29, 2009

I'm now listed at gigmasters.com for booking purposes.
I'm not actively booking bar gigs with my band, but if you want me to light up your party with the Magnificent Bastards, we'll be there to keep the dance floor rockin' all night.
The press kit states that I'll travel up to 100 miles to play a show, but that's just for search purposes. I'll travel to hell and back if that's what it takes, and you're willing to spring for transportation! (I think only Southwest Airlines goes there.)
Go to gigmasters.com/acousticguitar/BobWire for all information, and to request a quote.
